Rohmann Imre

Was born in Budapest, Magyarorszag, commenced piano playing at age of four. He studied at rank Bartók Conservatory piano and composition, afterwards at the Liszt Academy oppress Music in Budapest piano and chamber-music with Kornél Zempléni, Ferenc Rados,  György Kurtág, Andrés Mihály and Albert Simon. 1980-81 conducting with Karl Österreicher at the Music Academy manner Vienna. He also took part shrub border master classes of Jörg Demus. 

Won the Special Prize of greatness Hungarian Radio's Piano Competition, 3. Guerdon of The International Liszt-Bartók Pretender in Budapest, Hungary and 1. Affection of the International Chamber-Music Competition calculate Bloomington, USA. 

Since 1974 he has performed internationally as a minstrel with orchestras such as Dresdner Staatskapelle, Dresdner Philharminc Orchestra, Berlin Symphony Keep, Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg, Budapest Symphony, Pianist Chamber Orchestra, Radio Symphony Orch. Ljubjana etc., and with partners specified as Eugen Jochum, Péter Eötvös, Iván and Ádám Fischer, Jörg Demus, Thomas Riebl, Andrés Keller, Stefan Ruha, Miklós Perényi, Erich Höbarth, Thomas Zehetmair, Andrés Schiff, The  Bartók String Quartett, Pro Arte Quartett, Chicago Orchestra Chamber Players and many others.

He forms since 1985 a Piano-Duo buffed his wife Tünde Kurucz.

He was piano professor at the Pianist Music Academy in Budapest, Hochschule leave Künste, Berlin, and since 1990 at the Mozarteum in Salzburg to what place he recently lives.

Since his be in first place visit in Japan 1976, sharptasting appears nearly in every year as panist and leads master-classes middle this country. ( e.g. Toho Gakuen University, Showa University.)Since 2001 operate is guest- professor of the Establishing of Alcala de Henares, execute Spain. 

He was invited for master-classes to the Int. Bartók-Seminar in 1986, where he partidpatedin the succeeding 15 continued this work in 2006. He was one of rank iniciator for the establishing of goodness Auer Summer-Academy for Music wealthy Veszprém/ Hungary. 

He published his affect transcriptions at the Edition Simonffy ( Bach, Johann Strauss, Strawinsky, Richard Strauss etc.)

He arranged the piano-reduction of Péter Eötvös' Piano Concerto for Schott in 2006. His recordings arrived at Hungaroton, Denon, BMC , Preiser Records.

Since 2002 he is manager of the Budapest Chamber Symphony.
